Privacy & cookies

Who is responsible

ABYZOR operates ABYZOR MIDI. For privacy requests (access, correction or deletion of data we hold about you), contact us through ABYZOR support.

Legal bases (short)

We process data that is necessary to run the site and your account (legitimate interest and contract when you sign in). Analytics and marketing attribution run only after you accept cookies (consent).

Always on (needed for the site to work)

• Session (abyzor_midi_session): keeps you signed in with ABYZOR ONE.
• Sign-in check (abyzor_midi_connect): 10 minutes; protects the sign-in round trip.
• Download allowance (abyzor_midi_dl): counts free downloads without an account, when that limit is on.
• Your choice (abyzor_consent): remembers whether you accepted analytics.

Only if you accept analytics

Without consent we still count product events (for example “a MIDI was downloaded”) but without any identifier, so they cannot be linked to you or to each other. Rejecting removes the analytics cookies above.

• Anonymous id (abyzor_anon): 1 year; links your visits so we can see which clips and pages help.
• First visit source (abyzor_attr): 90 days; campaign tags (utm_*), referring site and landing page of your first visit. Saved on your profile when you first sign in.
• Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*): if enabled on this site, with IP anonymisation and advertising features off.

Your account

Sign-in happens on ABYZOR ONE. ABYZOR MIDI receives your ONE user id, name, username and avatar; never your password.

Favorites, dislikes and collections are private: dislikes are not shown on your profile or on clip cards; we use them in aggregate to improve generated MIDI quality. Collections are private unless you make one public.

Retention

Session and short-lived cookies expire as described above. Account-linked library data stays until you delete it or close your ABYZOR account, subject to what ABYZOR ONE retains.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data we hold. Use ABYZOR support to make a request; we will respond within a reasonable time.
